Residents of Rivington Park Care Home, Chorley enjoyed a trip to Chorley Town Hall to watch the Skylarks Choir perform a number of their most loved dancing tunes from their youth.
The ladies and gentleman who attended the evening donned their best outfits ready to dance or bop the night away. The town hall was a hype of activity with a number of other local care homes being involved in the evening. This meant the residents had the opportunity to socialise and engage with many other people throughout the night, making new friends whilst talking about past times.
Pat Dixon, Registered Manager Said
“It is lovely to see the residents enjoy such an eventful evening, I know many of them were looking forward to the trip and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I love being able to provide our residents with the opportunity of meeting new people in a different environment.”
